“Since due to the early elections we have not had time to reach our goals, the document is based on the election program of 2010.  Besides those goals measures aimed at improving the stability of the country are also of significant importance in our program,” said the party chairman of Most-Híd at a press conference following the general assembly.

The slogan of the election program including nearly 100 planks is "Responsibility does matter".   The primary objectives are to follow responsible economic policy and the creation of new workplaces.  Social issues are also stressed in the program.  The protection of minorities is also considered to be a priority.   "I am convinced that the more satisfied minorities are in a country, the more stable it is.  For this reason, the passing of the law on the legal status of minorities and on the financing of their cultural activities is of significant importance," Béla Bugár added.

The General Assembly of the party published a declaration, in which the importance of a responsible approach that is based on experience is stressed.  "If politicians and parties take responsible steps and if they are willing to cooperate with each other, it will all contribute to the stability of the country.  We hope that as an outcome of the early elections in March a new government and parliament will be formed that will devote all their efforts to creating a stable and peaceful country," the declaration states.
