- Defence and enrichment of democracy,
- Guarantee for the freedom of the individual,
- Representation of the interests and constitutional rights of citizens,
- European cooperation and good neighbourly relations between neigbouring states,
- Guarantee for the peaceful coexistence and equality of citizens of Slovakia irrespective of gender, age, race, colour of skin, religious affiliation, origin, and national or ethnic origin.
- Improvement of Slovak – Hungarian relations, establishment of mutual tolerance and cooperation of national and ethnic communities,
- Strengthening the role of families according to current social challenges,
- Establishment of equal opportunities for both genders, young and elderly people, for regions dropping behind, social solidarity for handicapped people,
- Support for market economy providing economic and social well being, entire protection of private property against state interventions,
- Elimination of regional and economic discrepancies of standards of living with effective state European development policies,
- Establishment of social security for young people, young families, elderly people, for temporarily unemployed people, improvement of the standards of living by comprehensive economic, social and health care support.
